Please note that while we have done our best to compile as much current and factual data in an organized and easy to review manner, you really should verify everything on your own. Also please note that in certain states, a “Caregiver” may be utilized (often requiring an additional and separate fee with the State), in the event you are uncomfortable growing marijuana, need guidance on strain selection, or need help getting marijuana from a facility that sells/dispenses it.
If you aren’t getting the help you deserve from the State, we are here to help you in your investigative, application and appeal process (in the event you wish to add your condition to your State Approved Condition List). Just click here.
Should you find an inaccuracy/out of date information on our part, please kindly update us by sending us a message.

Notes: *Under SB 174 (Carly’s Law), The University of Alabama at Birmingham was given the exclusive ability to treat children with Epilepsy with CBD Oil that is provided through GW Pharmaceutical. This program is still going on, and they may be willing to accept those with Lennox Gastaut Syndrome (LGS), and Dravet Syndrome as discussed here.
As of June 1, 2016 (Leni’s Law), the law more broadly allows for those who are in need, with conditions that present with aforementioned effects (discussed in “Approved Conditions”), to possess CBD oil, and have an affirmative defense to prosecution (extending to a parent or legal guardian).
Essentially, you can possess and administer CBD Oil, but unless you go through UAB who uses pills from GW Pharmaceutical, and allow your child to participate in their study, you have no legal protection regarding the acquiring of said CBD Oil.
